Hi! So I’m the human, Marcus. The Spitz is Bandit, and the Collie is Dingo.  I’ve come to woodworking through a less than usual route.  I studied to be a Biomedical Scientist as an Undergraduate, and then did my postgraduate work in Oncology. I have spent the past 10 years working as a cancer research scientist at the University of Manchester.

I’ve got a nasty habit of buying really run down houses, and over the course of moving house several times, became really into finish carpentry and custom furniture.  After lots of mistakes, I’ve learned a lot, and have now run out of projects to do in my own house, so decided my only recourse is to find other people’s houses to fill with exciting and interesting pieces (or interesting garden pieces too).
