A simple bookcase with a drawer in the bottom
Guidance is available below, or as .pdf. The SketchUp .skp file is available in the .zip
These are not detail tutorials. Instead they are my own drawings used in creating the client piece. I rarely stick exactly to them. But with a little woodworking experience you should be able to recreate something similar. If you find them useful please consider tipping my Ko-Fi, and I'll endevour to make more.

Overview
H1790mm, W780mm, D410mm
Component Assembly
Drawer cabinet (right), as continuous grain, waterfall box in solid oak with inset facial relief
Drawer is recessed into the drawer box to sit inline with the bottom of the drawer box facial chamfer. The drawings call for a single bevel, though I opted for a 9mm radial round over on the box, and 6mm round over on the box front.
Drawer box dimensions depend on your drawer slides. I’m using 350mm undermount soft close slides
I recommend Bourbon Moths tutorial
My Drawer box is 18mm plywood edge banded with oak, painted black exterior and waxed interior
Shelf Layout
Dowel Drilling Template
•Make the dowelling template from at least 9mm plywood on a drill press, to ensure perpendicular cutting of the template, and resultant dowel holes.
•Clamp the 2 side assemblies together while drilling for dowels, to adjust to the mean of any differences in sizes due to bowing.
•Drill the side assemblies from side of the template, then the mirrored shelf holes through from the opposing side of the template.
Examples
•These side assemblies are 20mm x 40mm rather than the original 40mm x 40mm planned
•There is a 9mm round over on the outside assemblies as well as the shelf fronts and rear brace
•I opted for a Bona Natural Hard Wax finish
